✨dnes je zimný slnovrat✨
Dnešný deň - slnovrat - je pre mňa potrebným boostom radosti a nádeje v týchto šedých dňoch. Je to čas na spomalenie, čas kedy oslavujeme návrat svetla. Čas, kedy sa môžeme zamyslieť, aké svetlo budeme vyžarovať do našeho okolia. Čas kedy pustíme staré bolesti.
Nie som vianočný a sviatkový človek. To čo by mali tieto dni reprezentovať - pokoj, oddych a radosť už je podľa mňa dávno preč. Miesto toho vidím stres, zhon - aby na sviatky pokoja bolo všetko perfektné a obrovskú dávku konzumu, ktorá mi je proti srsti. Viac je viac a inak to už asi nebude. Iba ak si to sami v našej bublinke neurobíme inak.
Pre mňa je slnovrat naozajatným sviatkom a dnes ho oslávim tak, ako si predatavujem, že by ozajstné sviatky pokojna mali byť - v tichosti, v prírode, bez zhonu, s pomalými nádychmi a čarovnými snami.
✨ today is the winter solstice ✨
Today – the solstice – is, for me, a much-needed boost of joy and hope in these grey days. It is a time to slow down, a time to celebrate the return of the light. A time to reflect on what kind of light we choose to radiate into our surroundings. A time to let go of old wounds.
I am not a Christmas or holiday person. What these days are supposed to represent – peace, rest, and joy – has, in my opinion, long been lost. Instead, I see stress and rush, trying to make everything perfect for the “holidays of peace,” and an overwhelming dose of consumerism that goes against my nature. More is more, and it probably won’t be any other way – unless we choose to do things differently within our own little bubble.
For me, the solstice is the true celebration, and today I will celebrate it the way I imagine genuine peaceful holidays should be – quietly, in nature, without haste, with slow breaths and magical dreams.
